The Clinton County Women’s Center (CCWC) has partnered with another agency to offer a community support group for the LGBTQ+ community.
The group is run by our Volunteer and Special Projects Coordinator, Leah Murawski who says:
“Having this group allows members of LGBTQ+ community in this small county to come together, in a safe location, to talk about shared experiences, difficulties, and successes.
Social support by the group members allows individuals to make connections and support one another through this weekly interaction.”
Our successes with this group would not be possible without the support and funding from United Way.
The group is free, inclusive, and confidential.
